HOW gift vouchers work
Once the gift voucher feature is active on your account, you are able to add in the monetary value of the gift voucher according to the voucher values you want to sell, along with the length of validity of these gift vouchers. Once set up, guests are able to select the gift voucher that they would like to purchase on your Inn Style booking calendar (you will need to be connected to one of our payment methods in order to sell gift vouchers).
Guests are then able to redeem these gift vouchers against any stay at your property as part of your integrated booking journey from Inn Style. Buying Gift Vouchers couldn’t be any easier with Inn Style’s simple feature.
They can navigate either via your website or, if you set up an eyecatcher, via the booking engine to the simple Gift Voucher purchase page. The guest simply needs to input their email address and the amount of the gift voucher and go on to pay for it. On this page they can also check the balance of any vouchers.
To redeem vouchers, guests can simply enter their gift voucher code during the checkout process which will reduce the amount of the booking by the gift voucher amount. If the total balance is less than the gift voucher, the remaining balance will remain on the voucher.
