PREFERRED PITCH SELECTION
For campsites with multiple identical units, such as pitch types, or caravan-specific pitches, returning guests may have a specific favourite pitch they prefer to stay in. Inn Style’s Preferred Pitch Selection feature allows guests to request their preferred unit at the time of booking, improving guest satisfaction and enhancing the booking experience.

Enabling Preferred Pitch Selection takes just a few clicks, making it simple to offer a customised booking experience.
HOW PREFERRED PITCH SELECTION WORKS
To activate Pitch Selection for Guests, go to Account > Guest Experience > Booking Allocations.
Tick the box “Guests can request a specific unit”. Click Save Changes to apply the update. Once enabled, guests will see the option to select a preferred pitch when making a booking.
During the booking process, guests select their desired dates and room/pitch type as usual. If multiple identical pitches are available, they will have the option to choose a specific pitch from the list. The system reserves the selected pitch, ensuring it is allocated upon confirmation.
After Booking Confirmation, the guest’s preferred pitch is automatically assigned to their reservation. If the requested pitch is unavailable, the system follows standard allocation rules, ensuring the booking is completed smoothly.
If a pitch cannot be assigned at confirmation (e.g., due to a prior booking), the system will allocate a unit using normal availability settings.
