WAITING LIST
If your accommodation is fully booked, your guests can now choose to complete a simple form to join a Waiting List for the dates they have selected. Capturing booking intent and future business, simplified.
BENEFITS OF WAITING LIST
Guests sometimes cancel their reservations or fail to show up for their stay. The Waiting List feature gives you the ability to quickly fill these open rooms by offering them to other guests who have shown booking intent through the integrated booking engine on your website. This property management system feature provides a better occupancy rate and reduces revenue losses for you.
With Inn Style’s Waiting List feature, you can gain booking insight into seasons of high demand and make plans appropriately by analyzing the Waiting List data. You can use this insight to modify your pricing strategies, employee numbers, and other operational elements to ensure the best use of resources during peak times.
HOW WAITING LIST WORKS
Once you have activated the Waiting List feature through the Inn Style PMS, your guests will see an option to join a waiting list on the embedded calendar during the booking journey on your website. If your guest clicks to join the Waiting List, a form will be returned for them to fill out their contact information.
If a guest has been added to your Waiting List, you will be notified in the notifications area of the Inn Style property management system, and you will be able to see all guests who are on the Waiting List.
If a room becomes available for more than 30 minutes (we have a time delay of 30 minutes in case you are moving guests between rooms), then we will trigger an email to the guests who are on the Waiting List, notifying them that the room they were interested in has now become available for the dates of their stay, working on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The email will take the guest directly to the booking journey, making it a frictionless booking process.
