Let’s start with the first (and our favourite) – Waiting List.
Unique to Inn Style, the only booking system in South Africa with waiting list functionality. We want you to see it in all of its awesomeness and provide you with another reason to switch to Inn Style, the most modern and effective booking system in South Africa.
If your accommodation is fully booked, your guests can now choose to complete a simple form to join a waiting list for the dates they have selected. Capturing booking intent and future business, simplified.

Benefits:
- Allow guests who can’t book because they are fully booked to join a waiting list
- Guests sometimes cancel their reservations or fail to show up. Properties may quickly fill these open rooms by offering them to anyone on the waiting when they have a Waiting List in place. This provides a better occupancy rate and lower revenue loss.
- Properties can gain insight into seasons of high demand and make plans appropriately by analysing the Waiting List data. To guarantee the best use of resources at peak times, this information may be utilised to modify pricing strategies, employee numbers, and other operational elements.
How it Works:
Once the feature is installed on your Inn Style booking system in South Africa, when your guests go to book they will now be able to click on fully booked dates which will return a form for them to complete.
When a guest has been added to the Waiting List you will then be notified in the notifications area and you will be able to see all guests who are on the waiting list.
If the room is available for more than 30 Minutes (We have a time delay of 30 minutes in case you are moving guests rooms around) then we will trigger an email to the guest which notifies them that the room they were interested in has now become available for the dates of their stay.

Once the feature is installed, when your guests go to book they will now be able to click on fully booked dates which will return a form for them to complete.

If you are using our calendar view and the guests hover over booked dates there will see this:
Enquiry View
With enquiry view, the date will be highlighted with a call to action to join the Waiting List:
Regardless of view, once they click on the date a form will pop up for them to complete. They can adjust the dates, room, number of nights and guests and go on to fill in their personal details to enable a notification if the booking becomes available. Once submitted they will receive a message which looks like this:
How will my Guests know if the room becomes available?
If the room is available for more than 30 Minutes (We have a time delay of 30 minutes in case you are moving guests rooms around) then we will trigger an email to the guest which notifies them that the room they were interested in has now become available for the dates of their stay.
Within the email there will be a link to your Inn Style booking system in South Africa and their stored enquiry dates. If there are multiple people on a waiting list they will all be emailed and it will be on a first come first served basis.

Once a guest has requested to join the waiting list for a date which is sold out, you will receive a notification in the Notifications tab here:
When you view the Waiting List on your Inn Style booking system in South Africa, you will see the below screen. The grid will tell you if the room is available and if it is if the guest has been notified. You will be able to see the Guests contact details if you press View here.
Once your guest has been notified of a cancellation your Waiting List your grid will now show as below. You can also expedite the process using the contact details by either calling the potential guest or sending them an additional personalised email.
The Waiting List feature is available for all direct bookings on your Inn Style booking system in South Africa and not for your OTA bookings from Booking.com or Expedia.
