Inn Style’s Wait List feature is an essential tool for property owners to help with increasing occupancy and as an outcome a steady stream of revenue.

So what is Wait List?

Inn Style’s Wait List allows you to capture demand from interested guests even when your property is fully booked. This means that if you have a last-minute opening due to a cancellation, you can turn to whoever is next in line on your Wait List to fill the spot. 

How does the Wait List feature work?

During the booking journey on your website, guests will have the option to click on unavailable dates which will then return a form to capture their details. If a room becomes available for more than 30 minutes for the dates that your guest has selected, an email gets triggered to the guest notifying them about the availability. With the email notification going out to your guests automatically, it saves you time by not having you send it out manually! 

The Inn Style Wait List feature can be beneficial for your property in several ways:

Maximise occupancy: The Wait List feature ensures that every unit is occupied as soon as possible. If a guest decides to cancel their reservation, the Wait List allows you to fill the vacancy quickly, reducing the amount of time that your property remains empty.

Reduce vacancy rates: This feature also helps you to maintain lower vacancy rates. A property with a high vacancy rate can struggle to generate revenue and may require extra effort to attract new guests.

Pre-screen potential guests: Inn Style’s Wait List gives you a way to pre-screen potential guests, ensuring that they meet your property’s requirements. This can help to reduce cancellation rates and minimise the risks of bad guests.

Please note that the Inn Style ‘Wait List’ feature ONLY works for your Inn Style Booking engine on your website. It DOES NOT apply to OTA channels that may have their own Wait List settings. If applicable, these will need to be set up directly with Booking.com or Expedia themselves.
